Modelled lower-bound estimate
Messages sent in messengers
A minimum documented volume based on WhatsApp alone, updated every second.
Estimated WhatsApp messages sent today
—messages
Lower bound based on 100 billion messages per day · not a direct live count
How the estimate works
The benchmark of 100 billion WhatsApp messages per day, reported in 2020, is distributed evenly across each day. It remains a scale indicator rather than a current measurement because platforms do not publish comparable real-time totals.
